Llanerch Vineyard Ltd goes
into administration: the popular tourist destination is home
to one of Wales' most highly regarded restaurants and was even the
venue for a Visit Wales advert hosted by top Welsh comedian Rhod
Gilbert. Two poor harvests have led the owners to wind up the parent
company and vouchers bought are no longer being honoured.
Cardigan Quays Festival is hosting
the Shanty Burlesque Cabaret on Cardigan's Cambrian Quay on Friday
August 20. The following Saturday features a host of events easily
accessible from New Quay including a 25 foot head parading through
the town, boat races and rope making. Find out more at the festival

The new Robin Hood movie was
filmed just down the coast from Cardigan Cottages in New Quay. The
French invasion scene of the movie - that stars Russell Crowe -
was filmed in Pembrokeshire just on the south of Cardigan Bay

Aberaeron and Newquay
have had rave reviews recently in the The

restaurant and bar. If you plan to come down and do like a high

year!) because it is incredibly popular.

The land owned by the National Trust
in Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron, will be the venue for the Urdd
National Eisteddfod in 2010,
At the Eisteddfod, visitors will be able to see and hear various
different acts throughout the week including singing, recitation,
drama, disco dancing, instrumentalists, poetry, pop music, sports,
art and craft and much more!
The Urdd National Eisteddfod attracts around 90,000 visitors and
15,000 competitors each year. People from all over Wales and beyond
will travel to Llanerchaeron between 31 May and 5 June 2010 to witness
the wonderful talent that will be on show each day. more...
There has been an increase in sightings of
Rissos Dolphins off the Pembrokeshire Coast according
to conservationist, who have been monitoring wildlife activity from
the bridge of the Stena Line ferry between Fishguard and Rosslare.Its
surprising that Bottlenose Dolphins were only seen occasionally,
even though nearby Cardigan Bay is considered to have a population
of over 200 animals. more...
