The land owned by the National Trust
in Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron, will be the venue for the Urdd
National Eisteddfod in 2010,
At the Eisteddfod, visitors will be able to see and hear various
different acts throughout the week including singing, recitation,
drama, disco dancing, instrumentalists, poetry, pop music, sports,
art and craft and much more!
The Urdd National Eisteddfod attracts around 90,000 visitors and
15,000 competitors each year. People from all over Wales and beyond
will travel to Llanerchaeron between 31 May and 5 June 2010 to
witness the wonderful talent that will be on show each day. more...
There has been an increase in sightings
of Rissos Dolphins off the Pembrokeshire Coast
according to conservationist, who have been monitoring wildlife
activity from the bridge of the Stena Line ferry between Fishguard
and Rosslare.Its surprising that Bottlenose Dolphins were
only seen occasionally, even though nearby Cardigan Bay
is considered to have a population of over 200 animals. more...
