The area surrounding New Quay offers some superb dining and great hostelries. While the locals are proud of their Welsh heritage, all are very welcoming to visitors. We have picked some of our personal favourites here:

The Hungry Trout (01545 560680)
New Quay's most reknowned eatery and frequented by tourists and locals alike. The homely charm is complemented by an excellent menu and mouth-watering selection of seafood. Situated on South St John St overlooking the bay.

New Inn (01239 654285)
Fantastic quality hearty home-made meals are available around the year. Easily overlooked on the main road, the New Inn represents excellent value for money, offers large portion and manages to maintain the highest standards. On the A487 halfway between Plwmp and Brynhoffnant about 6 miles south of Llanarth.

Black Lion Pub (01545 560209)
New Quay has plenty of pubs and most cater very well to local residents. One that has a particularly friendly welcome for all, good beer, good food and an excellent atmosphere is the Black Lion Pub in the centre of town on Glanmor Terrace.
